The Benefits of an Organic Cotton Face Mask:
The benefits of an organic cotton face mask may surprise you. If you have to wear something on your face and breathe through it shouldn’t the fabric be chemical-free? We think so and that’s why we choose organic cotton fabric for our face masks. The obvious benefits are breathing clean air and a more comfortable fit on your face.
The CDC and some states require face masks to be worn when out in public, in stores and on public transportation. We all need to do our part to protect ourselves and our communities by wearing face masks. At Quality Mask Supply that also means making the most healthy face mask possible and that starts with two words: Organic Cotton.
Organic cotton is gentle on your skin which is important if you need to wear your face mask for any length of time. If you have sensitive skin a chemical-free fabric is the perfect way to cover your skin. An added benefit of our organic cotton face mask is the satin weave which has a softer less abrasive feel.
What is Organic Cotton?
Organic cotton is produced without the use of toxic chemicals or GMO’s. It is grown using methods that have a positive impact on the soil and the environment. Providing a good quality of life for farmers and everyone involved.
Organic cotton does not use large amounts of chemicals in the manufacturing process. Regular cotton uses heavy metals, chlorine, and chemical dyes. Organic cotton uses peroxides for whitening and natural or water-based dyes.
Chemicals used for growing and manufacturing regular cotton are classified by the EPA as some of the most toxic chemicals. Regular cotton uses more pesticides than any other single major crop!
Organic cotton face masks are better for the environment, better for the farmers and other workers involved in the growing and manufacturing process.

for you to add a non-woven filter of your choice.

food products such as cookies, chips, and vegetable oil.
We use 300 thread count organic cotton which also has it’s benefits. It is a tighter weave that lets fewer pollutants in. Since we double layer the fabric this gives you a 600 thread count protection. If you had a non-woven filter even better.
